The general management of the affairs of the Association shall be vested in the Board of Directors (By-Law 4.1)
The Board of Directors consists of 7 members and not more than 12 (as needed). (By-Law 4.2)
Unlike a typical business organization, the members of the Board are all equal to one another.
What follows are key responsibilities of each role. On the website under the Admin pull-down menu are folders containing specific Procedure Guides, collateral material, spreadsheets, association artwork, working folders for board and committee members pertinent to your role on the Board or as a Committee Head.

PRESIDENT
- Provides overall leadership, direction, and goal setting.
- Supervise and manage the business and affairs of the Association insuring Directors and Committees are working in step with each other.
- Shall chair all meetings of the Board and of the Membership, except on any such occasion that the Board, or the Membership, shall appoint a temporary Chair.
- Review and address correspondence sent to .
- Sit on or chair one or more Committees.
- Except as set forth, the President shall have no greater powers than any other Board member.
- Mentor the member who proceeds them as president to insure a smooth transition.
- Destroy or return Association documents and collateral within 10 days of the end of their term.
VICE PRESIDENT
- In the absence of, or disability of the President, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the

SECRETARY
- Has custody of and maintain all of the Association’s records (except financial records).
- Record and post the associations website approved Minutes of Board and Membership Meetings.
- Annually, submit and updated Articles of Incorporation with information on who is the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer to the Florida Secretary of State.
- Send or give notice of Board and Membership Meetings and other areas of interest via blast email to active members ()
- Keep current the associations Google Calendar of upcoming Association and Community in conjunction with Committee’s maintaining the Google Calendar link at

- Can delegate select responsibilities to an Assistant Secretary with Board approval. The Assistant is not a member of the Board.
TREASURER
- Have custody of the funds of the Associati
- Maintain Association financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures.
- Keep full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursement
- Pay only Board-approved expenses.
- Insure all checks issued by the Association have two (2) signatures of Directors.
- Provide a report quarterly either through the Associations CPA or Accounting System of the Associations finances. This is to be posted the Associations Member Website.
- Oversee preparation of annual Financial Reports and Tax Documents in accordance with the By-Laws and Florida Statue 617.
- Supervise the creation of the Annual Budget.
- Interact with other Board Members and Committee Heads as needed on financial matters.
- Mentor the member who proceeds them as treasurer to insure a smooth transition.
- Destroy or return Association documents and collateral within 10 days of the end of their term.
- Can delegate select responsibilities to an Assistant Treasurer with Board approval. The Assistant is not a member of the Board
OTHER DIRECTORS
- Chair or be a member of one or more Association Committees.
- Take on short-term projects as directed by the President.
- Destroy or return Association documents and collateral within 10 days of the end of their term.
