Last September MPLD Consulting, a land use development consulting firm acting as agent for Altitude Property CO, LLC, invited the Sandpiper Residents to a meeting to show us what was planned for the Resort and Academy.
Currently, the Academy is out of compliance, and the land use needs to be amended. This would change 28.6 acres to Commercial/Institutional.Additionally, they want to build tennis courts near the Western side of the property.
Note that both of these changes were discussed at the September meeting.
The Planning & Zoning public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 6 at 6:00p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers. Residents can attend this meeting to express their views.
I will attend this meeting and update our members on the outcome. The official vote is tentatively scheduled for January 26th. We will keep our members updated on any new information that is shared with us.
