- Code staff spent the majority of September and part of October assisting Waste Pro with yard waste removal. Our staff, in conjunction with Public Works, worked tirelessly for over a month. As such, we were unable to generate Code cases throughout September as staff focused on follow ups for active cases. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused but rest assured, staff has been working diligently to get caught up and have begun sweeping the area once again.
- For the month of October, Code has opened 19 cases, closed 14 cases, and issued one parking warning.
- As hurricane season winds down, Code staff will begin addressing storm shutter violations. Per ordinance, unless we are in the path of an active storm, no occupied home can have storm shutters in the closed position. Staff will also sweep the community for high grass, open storage, exterior structures/accessories in need of maintenance, and parking violations. We aim to complete this sweep within the next two weeks and will ensure all violations are brought into compliance in a timely manner.
