You spoke and we listened! Walking, hiking and paved bike trails were the No. 1-ranked facility need and priority in your 2019 Council-approved City of Port St. Lucie Parks & Recreation 10-Year
Master Plan. The City is working to develop a network of on and off-road bikeways, trails and sidewalks and this is just the first of many more to come. For more information on trail projects,

Shred-A-Thon

With the threat of identity theft growing, the Port St. Lucie Police Department invites residents to bring their confidential documents for free and secure destruction at the City of Port St. Lucie’s Shred-A-Thon on June 5, 2021. This is an important step in protecting the community from identity theft by disposing of sensitive data securely.

Port St. Lucie residents can prevent identity theft by safely disposing of their personal documents, check stubs, credit card offers, receipts, and any other materials that might contain sensitive data. This event is expected to draw a large crowd, so please have patience. Drivers will be directed to stay in their vehicles while volunteers collect the paper from the backseat or trunk. No walk-ups are allowed. If you are sick, please stay home and send someone to dispose of the documents for you.

Residents can bring a maximum of three banker boxes full of documents to be shredded, free of charge. Please sort your documents and bring confidential papers only. Plastic or metal binders or electronic media will not be accepted.
